The Mudhouse’s remote countryside location

The Mudhouse is two hours drive north from the international airport, close to the town of Anamaduwa. The drive to either Kandy or Colombo is only two and a half hours. Furthermore, it is en-route from Colombo or the airport to the ‘Cultural Triangle’, making it ideal to visit on your way to or from the famous ancient sites at Sigiriya, Anuradhapura and Dambulla.

Pick-ups can be arranged from anywhere in Sri Lanka.

Due to its remote location, The Mudhouse can be difficult to find. In keeping with the low impact and discreet concept, there are no signs or boards. One of the staff will usually meet you in the nearby town of Anamaduwa. Alternatively your driver can speak to our staff and get detailed directions.
